Restraining Order Lifted for Chris Brown

This year continues to  move in the right path for Chris Brown as he  appeared in the in a downtown Los Angeles courtroom today where a judge, where a judge replaced Rihanna's restraining order with a level one order -- meaning Chris and Rihanna can have contact as long as he does not harass, annoy, or molest her reports TMZ.

Rihanna’s lawyer Donald Etra appeared on her behalf, telling the judge that she had no objection to the new ruling. “I have spoken with my client and she does not object to the reduction from the stay away order to the level one, or the do not annoy, molest, or harass order,” said Etra.

This request came earlier by Chris's lawyer after he had completed his 52 weeks of domestic violence class. Chris however remains on probation until 2014.

I am proud of your progress Chris, it can only gets better from here onward, his F.A.M.E album will be released on March 22.

How do I implement word-of-mouth advertising?

• Face-to-Face: Tell all your friends!
• Mass Text Messages: Remind your friends a week ahead of the show to buy their tickets via mass text.
• Instant Messaging (AIM, MSN / Yahoo Messenger): Remind friends of upcoming shows via instant messenger.
• If you know local artists who are also fans, have them announce the upcoming tour date at their performance.

How do I send out an e-mail blast?
An e-mail blast is an e-mail sent to a mass group of e-mails promoting an event or product.
Develop your email list by:

• Collecting e-mails at concerts.
• Compiling a list of friends’ e-mails.
• Researching press contact e-mails online

Send information about upcoming tour dates at least two or three weeks in advance to local newspapers and blogs to post in the concert listing. Most local papers have a website where you can find the music editor’s e-mail.

You can send out e-mail blasts about anything artist-related (e.g. new album, tour dates).

How do I post on band forums?
You can promote Christ by posting information about upcoming tour dates and album releases.It is fairly easy to sign up for a forum. To find artist forums, visit google.com and type in “Chris Brown". 

Generally, to post messages on forums, you must sign up for an account. These are generally free and only ask for your e-mail and some basic information for your profile.

How do I promote on Facebook? 
You can send an email to your friends, post widgets to your page, post links to Chris's website on your own wall or others' walls.

What is the best place to hang posters and create displays?
In Stores and Businesses

• Hang posters / displays in the front of the store if possible.
• Other great places include near the sales area, cash register, or on bulletin boards already established for flyer posting.
• Use clear tape when hanging on windows or on store walls.
• Use thumb tacks or staples for cork boards.
• If you see that a bulletin board in a venue or store is covered only in thumb tacks and no staples, use thumb tacks.

On the Streets

• Use staple guns for posting flyers on wooden street poles. Regular office staples will not work on street poles.
• Staple hammers are more expensive than staple guns but worth the investment if you will be posting a lot of flyers. They are much easier to use than staple guns.
• Use clear packaging tape for metal street poles.
• Try not to cover up flyers that have already been posted, unless the event has already passed or if there is no more room.
• Post on poles that already have signs posted, not on bare poles. Some poles are designated for posting, and your flyers may be torn down if they are in the wrong place.
• Do not hang flyers outside if it looks like it’s going to rain! All of your hard work will be washed away.
• Wait for a sunny day for outdoor posting, and post in-doors on rainy days. It’s a good idea to check out the forecast.

In Venues

• Post flyers inside bathroom stalls. They won’t get torn down as quickly by venue owners.
• Sometimes venues have established a bulletin board for upcoming shows.
• Usually they will not allow you to post a flyer for an event at a competing venue.

Chris Brown can never runs out of energy after peforming at Snoop Dogg’s party and  hosting  his own event during NBA All-Star Weekend, he found time to visit the youth at the iHoops event in Los Angeles on Sunday (Feb. 20).

He never disappoints the young ones that where there from the Boys & Girls Club of L.A, he signed autographs for kids and taught them how to play basketball.

Chris Brown buys West Hollywood condo

Singer Chris Brown has purchased a West Hollywood condominium for close to its $1.75-million asking price, according to the Multiple Listing Service.

The 3,000-square-foot unit occupies the entire top floor. It has an open floor plan, high ceiling and a bar. There are three bedrooms and 31/2 bathrooms.

Brown, only 21, sold more than 2 million copies of his 2005 debut album, "Chris Brown." He released "Exclusive" in 2007 and "Graffiti" in 2009, the same year of his much-publicized altercation with then-girlfriend Rihanna.

NBA All-Star weekend 2011 has kicked off with all stars are flocking to the parties and social events taking  place over the weekend long.

Chris Brown was at the the After-School All-Stars Hoop Heroes Salute launch party hosted by LeBron James and Arnold Schwarzenegger at Katsuya in downtown Los Angeles on Friday (Feb. 18).

The celebration continued as Breezy hosted a party at Boulevard3 in Hollywood. “Blvd 3 is going ham!!!!!!!!!” he tweeted his fan on twitter.

It was a quiet refreshing to see Chris Brown performing live on television after almost a year doing a tribute to Micheal Jackson on BET.

He tweeted early to say, “I’m so nervous about tonight!!!!!” and then after his first performance "Me and @ibogard in here At snl right now laughing and I'm nervous".

Those nerves went out the window as soon as he and his dancers hit the stage to perform "YEAH 3X" ; they took over and owned it all.

He later came back to perform "No Bullshit", his voice was definately on point and more relaxed. Who would not be proud of someone with so much talent to offer.

I continue to be one such fan and looking forward to the "Good Morning America" performance  for his F.A.M.E album being released on March 22.

Chris Brown Earns a High-Charting Hot 100 Singles With “Look At Me Now”

Chris Brown‘s comeback is ‘looking’ better than ever , thanks to teambreezy and all those who believe in true talent.


According to Yahoo Music blog  "Look At Me Now" by Chris Brown featuring Lil Wayne and Busta Rhymes enters the Hot 100 at #11. It's Brown's highest-charting hit since "Forever" reached #2 in 2008. Digital sales rank: #4 (158K). Billboard's Keith Caulfield notes that this is Brown's biggest weekly sales total for a song since "No Air," his smash duet with Jordin Sparks, shifted 153K copies in April 2008. I have more good news for Brown: His other current hit "Yeah 3X" tops the 1 million mark in paid downloads this week.

Don't forget Chris as a musical guest on Saturday Night Live with the host Russell Band. His fourth album, F.A.M.E., in stores on March 22.

Chris Brown has something to really smile about. After Chris appeared in a L.A. court back on Jan. 28 for a progress report his lawyer had requested the removal of a stay-away order from his former pop star girlfriend, Rihanna, she now has reportedly agreed to lift the ban.

E! Online reports that Rihanna and her lawyer, Donald Etra, have agreed to knock the existing restraining order placed against Chris Brown to a level one. Under the level one order, Chris would be allowed to have contact with Rihanna as long as he does not annoy, molest or harass her.

While Rihanna seems ready to lift the stay-away order, it will not be made official until Chris’ attorney, Mark Geragos, heads back into court to finalize the modification.

Chris will not be attending the Grammy but according to E! Online reports Brown will be in Los Angeles on the 18th, where he will participate in the NBA Celebrity All-Star Game alongside the likes of Justin Bieber, Magic Johnson, Zach Levi, Common and E!'s own Rob Kardashian.

In the current stay-away order Chris is ban from coming within 100 yards of Rihanna–the order is reduced to 10 yards if both artists are attending the same function related to their careers.This has put some amount of strain on both of them especially  when it comes  to major events.

I wish Chris all the best now  that things are moving positively  in his direction  . Don't forget his album coming out on March 22, 2011.

Chris Brown to Perform on Good Morning America Winter Concert

 
I can feel the presence of the F.A.M.E. promotional machine in gear . Chris is slated to appear on the  GMA’s Winter Concert series on Tuesday March 22nd, the same day that F.A.M.E. will be released in the USA.

This announcement came on the heels of Chris appearing as the musical guest on SNL on February 12, 2011. It was also announced that Chris will appear on BET’s 106 & Park on March 23, 2011 for Wild-Out Wednesday.
